Hi, I’m David Brockman. Thanks for visiting.

Well, I’m a laid-back, creative guy. A lover of good conversation, mucking about, travel and generally enjoying life! I enjoy writing music and songs, playing golf, riding my bike, people watching, cats, adventuring and seeing friends and family.

 

My Story…

I like to think I’m a pretty normal guy. I grew up in Colchester in Essex about 30 miles off London, UK. I enjoy having fun and like the good things in life. I also have a blast running my network marketing business and helping others to succeed online.

I did the ’9 to 5′ thing for 15 years or so..working in Admin…Never really having enough time or money to feel overly satisfied with my lot.  Just surviving really and living for the weekend.

In 2006, I decided to start my own business as a Courier. A chance to escape the office at last and be my own boss! Was great fun for 4 years or so until i ‘did my back in’ one afternoon. Then the driving became problematic and i was spending loads of money on physiotherapy just to stay fighting fit.

It was at this point that i began to look at making money online  and somehow…I don’t remember specifically what caught my eye…I found network marketing. Initially, I never did much of the  traditional belly-to-belly, bug your family & friends network marketing but, rather, I dove headfirst into learning and trying to build my business on the internet. This was a mistake which i didn’t realise (probably out of shear stubbornness!) for quite some time.

I became like the majority of online network marketers— I jumped from program to program, blaming the program for my lack of success…I was building lists for the program owners and not myself. And starting to feel de-humanized, isolated. My business was scattered. I was totally mesmerized by the information overload. Totally caught in the dream of possibilities which were constantly being dangled before my eyes by clever online copyrighters and marketers.

I tried to learn from the best, seeking out the very best training and systems –  but still was only really treading water, spending money to make money; and spending countless hours sitting like a zombie in front of the computer fiddling with code and software…A voice was screaming at me to turn off the computer and ‘go do something less boring instead’. But i persisted!

What came next was a period of much intensive soul searching.  Then i get busy getting busy. Using the internet as a tool (this blog + the Empower Network) but not relying on it totally. Which of course is what i had been told to do all along before i was caught by the web!  And this is where you find me today…building a business with a 5 year plan in mind. Using the internet;  plus doing things the old fashioned way — person by person, Face to face, on the phone. A mix of everything. It all works after-all  …. just different ways of communication.

… I love to give people the means to build a business that actually frees them to do whatever they want – in my case that’s writing music – in your case, it might be spending more time with your children…or travelling perhaps..what would be your perfect day?

I’m not in this for the money...i do this to be free from the money system! – to live a more natural lifestyle…to create and to empower.  There’s so much hype online about making ‘six figures in 6 months’ etc,etc… I’m interested in Freedom…that’s it… What about you?  What are you looking for?

My Creative Passion – Writing Music and Songs

Music seems to appear more often than not. Which is cool. Love to create, love to play, love to write and jam. It’s all good. I guess ‘writing’ music is my all consuming passion; though it’s not too much to do with David, if you get me.

Building income streams online (and through network marketing) is what allows me the freedom to pick up the guitar whenever i want. I’ve never really wanted to build a commercial career in music as an artist; (though these days that’s not really required anyway).

- I just like to create.
